One hundred years ago today, the RMS Titanic left Southampton at 12 noon and began its maiden voyage with 922 passengers on-board. Four hours later, Titanic docked in Cherbourg and a further 274 passengers boarded the ship. At 8:00pm, Titanic set sail once more, bound for Queensland, Ireland.
